These types of products are usually applied after shampooing and conditioning
the hair and are left in until your next shampoo. These types of hair oil are
most effective because they are left in the hair, allowing the product to fully
penetrate to the core of the hair shaft, and they protect the hair from further

We want to be clear about what Hair Oil is. Like we said before, Hair Oil is any
hair product that contains a naturally derived oil. The olive oil in your
pantry, for example, or straight coconut oil is not considered a Hair Oil. The
Hair Oil products offered on this site are specially formulated in laboratories
and are combined with other essentially ingredients to deliver essential oils,
vitamins and nutrients to your hair. The molecules are broken down to a very
small size, which allows them to fully penetrate the hair shaft. The molecules
in non-hair products, like your cooking olive oil, are not specifically
formulated for hair care; they are too large to fully penetrate the hair shaft.
These homemade hair oils will only coat the outer layer of your hair, making you
think you're doing your hair some good, when it's only superficial and does not
